This landmark event spanned September to December 2024, covering all eleven cities through four divisional tournaments in Haining, Ningbo, Jinhua, and Wenzhou, culminating in the finals at Zhoushan Sports Gymnasium on December 1 .

Tournament Overview:

• 500+ athletes competed across divisional stages, with 16 elite teams (146 players) advancing to finals 

• Mixed team format featuring five age categories, accommodating players from grassroots enthusiasts to Olympians 

• Featured 62-year-old four-time Olympian He Zhiwen (representing Spain in 2004-2016 Olympics, former teammate of Ni Xialian) 

• Table tennis legends Cai Zhenhua performed ceremonial opening serve , while former ITTF Chairman Xu Yinsheng attended finals and unveiled championship trophy 

• Amateur player Zhao Jialu defeated former national champion Che Xiaoxiao 3-1, while 51-year-old Yang Dongmei delivered clutch victories to propel her team into semifinals 

• Ningbo Table Tennis Association Qingcheng Sports Team claimed championship, with former national team player Feng Ji winning Highest Win Rate Male Player (18-0 record from qualifiers through finals) 

World champion Wei Wensheng praised the tournament atmosphere as surpassing many domestic professional events .
